The Problem

Here’s the thing. Most people just toss their socks and underwear when they’re done with them. We don’t blame you, they’re not exactly hand-me-down material. The problem is that a lot of socks and underwear are made of cotton or synthetic materials (like polyester or rayon), both of which have big environmental footprints and can take hundreds of years to decompose in landfills (and they emit gross chemicals like formaldehyde while they sit there). Talk about some dirty laundry.

The Solution

We made Everyday GF socks and underwear with recycled polyester to divert plastic water bottles from landfills and nix our need for virgin polyester. They’re also recyclable with ReGirlfriend, and not just to be downcycled into insulation or rags — to create brand new fabric. Don’t worry, we have a heavy duty cleaning system so it’s all very sanitary and sustainable, promise. Also, when you recycle with us you’ll get credit back to your account so you can buy more socks and underwear (or anything else for that matter). See? Full circle.
